What is the structure of DNA?

DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid. DNA is what carries our genetic instructions for what is used to decide our growth, development, functioning as well as reproduction. It is composed of nucleotides, it has a phosphate group, deoxyribose sugar and nitrogen containing bases. The bases are what makes up the DNA’s double helix structure and they consist of adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine.
