The implications to consider would be me more dependent on the location on the body the radiation is focused as this is where the cells are the most vulnerable. An example of this would be if a patient had a breast cancer and was having radiation therapy in this area, they would need to be advised to avoid "bras with underwires, nylon, or lace.
