Problem Statement on case Max Huber*
Pt is a 65 y/o white male who has a history of BPH who came to clinic because he’s fatigued, not sleeping due to excessive nocturia, reports correlated visual blurriness, and reports polyphagia, polydipsia, and polyurea. Pt has a BMI of 30.6, blood pressure is slightly elevated at 128/80 at today’s visit, eosinophil levels are slightly elevated at 7%, fasting glucose at today’s visit is 230, urine is hyperosmolar and dilute with glucosuria being 1+, and mild proteinuria being found. These results are consistent with the finding of T2DM.
