Problem Statement on case Rachel Boyd*
Pt is a 16 y/o female who presents with dysuria, increased urinary frequency, and urinary urgency x 3 days. Patient is sexually active with boyfriend of 1 year and just returned from trip with him and friends where she reports increased intercourse. Patient is afebrile in clinic today. Upon examination she had tenderness with palpation to suprapubic region, no CVAT pain or tenderness, non-tender pea-sized inguinal nodes bilaterally, no tenderness with release of deep palpation. She also reports stomach cramping that she believes is connected to onset of menstration. She has a PMH of painful menstration.
