The 36-year-old male patient presented with complaints of ongoing fevers for three weeks. Additional symptoms reported include 5lb unintentional weight loss, SOB and unproductive cough. He is a chronic five-year cigarette smoker and works in a latex company with a medical history of chlamydia three years ago. He is sexually active who engages in unprotected intercourse with multiple male partners. He has no regular health screenings and updated immunizations. Physical exam revealed inability to take full deep breaths, dry skin, mild seborrheic dermatitis, cheek and temporal muscle wasting including multiple swollen lymph nodes. Vital signs are T:101F; P:102bpm; RR:30bpm; O2sat:82%.
