The 53-year-old female presented with complaints of excruciating lower back pain for three days after lifting a heavy load. Her pain is constant at 10/10 radiating down to RLE. She took ibuprofen with minimal relief. Medical history includes breast cancer in remission, hypertension, and asthma. Additional symptoms reported include fatigue and 20lb weight loss over six months.
Physical exam revealed L3-L5 levels involvement, RLE with diminished reflex and foot drop plus positive straight leg test. RUQ hepatomegaly was also noted during abdominal exam.
