Model/Framework for Change Selected Model and its Relevance to the Project
The Loma Linda University (2022) indicates that the various models and frameworks used in implementing evidence-based practices (EBPs) function by linking evidence with the research action. For this discussion, the selected model for change is the John Hopkins Evidence-Based Practice Model. It is a powerful problem-solving approach to clinical decision-making. This model functions by using user-friendly tools for individual or group use guidance. Moreover, the model is specifically designed to meet practicing nurses’ needs, especially in evidence-based research and practice. The model functions by following its three-step process known as PET: practice question, evidence, and translation. Stages of the Change Model/Framework
The first step includes the development of the practice question to guide the study in attaining its aims and objectives.
