In this week’s Case Study, we have a 42-year-old man who comes the Emergency Department (ED) related to having dysuria, low back pain, inability to fully empty his bladder, severe perineal pain, fever, and chills for the past two days. The patient reports that the pain is worse when he stands up and that when he lays down the pain is somewhat relieved.
