- I found it interesting how intricate the court systems are and how hard it is to be elected to one.
- The outcome of my political party quiz was a bit surprising to me seeing as I was raised fully Republican. I did not really have a political revelation but I have always known my views and been set in how I vote since I was in tenth grade.
- The other ideas I have began to understand better would be how much the Constitution is there to protect us, but in current society are our government officials really doing all they can to uphold the Constitution like they should be.
- The federal court system has 94 trial level courts with 13 courts of appeals below that (uscourts.gov, 2022). With that many courts and all the judges needed to appoint to each one, I find it slightly confusing to understand all of the in-and-outs of what each court does and what is needed to be appointed a judge for each court.
