OG is a 12month old Hispanic female presenting today for her well-child exam. Mother reports she is hitting her milestones, sleeping well, and eating well from all food groups. She has not started walking yet, but pulls herself up to standing. Attends daycare all week, home on the weekends. Started with red, scaly pruritic rash 3 weeks ago that has worsened since then, starting on posterior knees, now in the creases of the elbows, denies alleviating or aggravating factors. Denies any contacts with similar rash. The rash is mild in severity there has not been a pattern to the development of the rash. Father has a history of “bad skin.” No changes in soaps, medications, or foods.
