During my practicum, I have learned and grown so much. I am truly enjoying this rotation and am excited to go to the office each day to learn more.
Interesting Case
There have been many interesting cases during my clinical experience.
One experience that sticks out in my mind is a 14-year-old female that
came into the office for a 3 month med check. She came in alone
because her mother took her 22-year-old brother to his appointment.
This patient was on an antidepressant, I can’t remember which one at
this point. My preceptor and I went in together to see her because Becca
remembered from her last visit that she was very depressed and her and
her mother’s dynamic concerned her. This patient was much more open
and talkative than she was at her previous appointments. She reported
that her grandmother was in a skill nursing facility, and it was the
family’s responsibility to take care of her house……….. Continue
